OBS 11th JUNE - 15th JUNE
it's the BEST man, i'm so NOT going to forget this wonderful experience, goshhhh, it's really the best!(: i want to blog about obs, but actually i'm lazyyy to! But yeah, i'll still blog long long long!, it might be boring, so up to you whether you want to read anot heheee =]
FIRST DAY 110607,
Everyone was supposed to meet in school by 7.30am. i reached the school late! Hahaha. But it was still fine heehee. Oh then we set off to the punggol jetty. Then we took the ferry across to palau ubin, the place where we're gonna live for the next 5 days, && at the MPH in camp site2 we separated into different watches, mine was MAGELLAN<3
Then all the admin stuffs and all, and our instructor was called LUM,or Love.U.Man!=] for some of us, the first sight of him was, omg hais, bad impression alreadyyy! ): Hahah. Then the morale was rather low, sadly. i was the Stall IC, omg la hahaha.
First activity was kayakinggg!:D It was fun, but we were made to capsize like twice? Hahah gosh it was really tiring, for the first time i mean. and poor mavis almost lost her shoes! Haha! Good thing she got it back[=! Oh Oh Oh, we also learnt how to pitch tents, it's really coooool, but tough actually, to make the tent stable and all that. Shared a tent with mavis and fadilah(: was homesick!:D
SECOND DAY 120607,
First time trekking, with the super HEAVY HEAVY BACKPACKS, those were the KILLERS :X Shared a backpack with mavis, we shouldn't have put in our water bottles, total 4litres? Hahah gosh, can die!=( But anyways we survived that, and trekked our way to camp site 1. Hmm, we did some height activities!
I was so tempted to try it out after johanna and nadiah had so much fun :D So i asked mavis to do with me, but i guess i hai le mavis, sorry sorry ): Heehee. Then blahhhh, time passed slow! But today our morale was higher than yesterday's. :D
But pitching the tents part was sucky, cos our campsite for the day was full with hard rocks and all. And we pitched our tents late, this means that it's getting dark, and we can't stable the tent pegs, gosh it was really frustrating, but we pulled through everything!!! :D
The cook house(Or whatever you call it) provided dinner for us, :D it was like, considered goood meal even though it wasn't really appealing if you weren't in obs. Obs taught us how to treasure things, really ;D Oh and this night was hard to sleep, the stones underneath our backs were really really GOOOD massage, if you know what i mean(:
THIRD DAY 130607,
Oh what a day! it's Rowing Boats time! :D Each watch split into two row boats. And i seriously loveee our row boat people: Mavis, HoZiying, Aida, Fadilah, Johanna, Nadiah and myself!<3 it was TOUGH. but we persevered and survived through as well ;D Our boat was the navigator!! Hahaha. and i think we were goooooood. like really really! Then we had to trekked our way to our new campsite in the JUNGLE. gosh, magellan set off the last. ;D AND GUESS WHAT, we reached the camp site FIRST! ;D definitely a morale boost man. i love ourselves! Then cooked and all. Wow, this night was the toughest of all i guess. hmmm, wild boars? Forget about it =] Hahahaha. we really started to like obs more and more. there's the bond within!
FOURTH DAY 140607,
SEA EXPEDITION DAYYYY :D This totally means kayaking half the day away, tiring definitely! so our triyak consist of mavis boya and myself!:D && Total there were 4 watches together as a group, named CHARLIE!<3
JETTY JUMP! omg, i was the FIRST to jump man, Hahahha it's REALLY COOOOOL. seriously. Then bathed, packed, pitched tents. ate dinner. Lum-my gave us a talk kind of thing ): Hahaha. Gosh, the floor was really COMFORTABLE Grass.
FIFTH DAY 150607,
unpitched tents, and today we gotta pack up our stall and everything. so washed all the heavy ponchos, backpacks, lifevests, ground sheets, water bottles. ;D We cant afford to lose any because we'll need to pay alot of those man!! :D It was frustratinggg hahah somehow, but yaye we managed to pack everything in :D MAGELLAN ROCKS!<3
I LOVE MAGELLAN HELL ALOT, ALL 15 OF US!, mayvis, hoziying, aida, fadilah, johanna, nadiah, rachel, yuji, lyeziying, qianqian, boya, nathini, allifah, yingtian, and myself! OH AND FABULOUSSS LUM-MY!<3
obs really impacted my life, and it's definitely something worth going, it's only once a lifetime for most of us!=]
